Dr. Theron Manson purchased our practice in 2012 from the previous retiring dentist, James Soine, DDS. We’ve kept the same philosophy of care as the previous owner, which is why so many of his patients have stayed with Dr. Manson after coming to our office for over 40 years.
Meet Theron Manson, DDS
Dr. Theron Manson was raised in British Columbia but now calls Seattle his home. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington. He and his wife Connie have two boys, and enjoy skiing, hiking, and traveling together.
When he isn’t at work, Dr. Theron Manson also enjoys coaching his sons’ athletic activities.
To stay abreast of the latest patient care techniques, Dr. Theron Manson completes as many as 200 hours of continuing education per year.
He has many areas of interest including sleep dentistry (for individuals with sleep apnea), Invisalign braces, and other orthodontic therapies.
Meet Connie Manson, DDSDr. Connie Manson grew up in Seattle and spent many happy years at the University of Washington obtaining a BA in English Literature and a BS in Biochemistry. She then found herself sitting next to Theron in dental school and the rest is history. Connie received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002 and dedicated her career caring for under-served families all around Seattle.
Cheering on her boys at their sporting events is one of her all-time favorite activities. Camping, hiking, and enjoying a good book are also high on her list. If she is not in her garden, you may find her volunteering for the PTA, taking a slow run around the neighborhood, or trying to convince her husband that the backyard could sure use some chickens.
Meet Timothee Souquet, DDS
Dr. Timothee Souquet was born in France and spent his younger years moving between France and the United States. He moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington and received a Bachelor of Science in Developmental Biology. He joined a medical imaging clinical research trial after graduating and conducted research for three years prior to enrolling in dental school at the University of Washington where he earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Dr. Souquet chose to further his dental education at the University of Colorado General Practice Residency in order to provide comprehensive dental care to patients with complex needs.
He enjoys working with patients throughout their treatment in order to address their needs and concerns. On his time off Dr. Souquet can be found in the mountains, skiing, rock climbing and biking, or travelling and visiting friends and family.
Our Team Members
Vanessa – Dental HygienistVanessa was born and raised in South Africa, and lived there until she was 23 years old. Her family farmed sugarcane on the border of Kruger National Park. The Crocodile River formed the eastern border between their farm and Kruger, and yes, it was full of crocs! After marrying her husband, a native New Yorker, she relocated to the USA. They live in Bothell with their 2 teenage boys, but they visit South Africa as often as they can.
Vanessa has been a practicing hygienist for 14 years, and obtained her degree at Lake Washington Technical College. She loves being a hygienist because she loves working with people and caring for them. The number one comment she receives from her patients is that she has a “gentle touch.” You will enjoy her personable, warm, and encouraging approach to dentistry.
Christina – Dental Hygienist
Christina is no stranger to the Manson Dentistry practice, as she was Dr. Theron’s dental assistant before taking the leap to go back to school to obtain her Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. To her, being a dental hygienist means having the opportunity to improve the overall health of her patients. She’s passionate about helping her patients become in charge of their oral health by education, demonstration and support.
Christina has lived in the greater Seattle area her entire life. Growing up in a very active family, she was able to enjoy all the PNW has to offer, such as snowboarding, water skiing and camping. However, on a gloomy day, don’t be surprised if you run into her at Target!
Erin – Dental Hygienist
Erin was born in Washington but raised in Arizona. To the benefit of everyone at Manson Dentistry, she moved back to the Pacific Northwest and has been here for 6 years. She loves working in the dental field because it lends her the opportunity to meet new people everyday and to work with the best of the best.
“I am very fortunate to be part of such a kind staff with such dedicated patients.” – Erin
When not with patients, Erin likes to volunteer at the Dog Gone Seattle dog rescue, go on hikes, and practice yoga.
Charitie – Business Team
Charitie has been in the Dental field since 1999 and joined Manson Dentistry in July 2017. She has experience working at the front desk as well as assisting. She loves helping people and feels there is something very satisfying about making a difference in someone’s life.
Charitie has 3 amazing teenage children that keep her busy at all times, but she wouldn’t want it any other way. If she’s not enjoying one of her kids’ sporting events, you will most likely find her doing some kind of outdoor activity or reading a good book.
Joanna – Business TeamJoanna is essentially our office historian. She has worked in the field of dentistry since the year 2000 and is very familiar with Kirkland and the surrounding areas. She was born and raised in Redmond and went to Lake Washington High School, followed by Lake Washington Technical College. She has been with our practice since 2016 and clearly enjoys her job as she is always enthusiastic and ready to help our patients.
Joanna says that she has loved visiting the dentist office since she was a kid. She says she especially loves working for a dentist that she trusts enough to send all her family members to. When Joanna is not busy in the office, she likes to spend her time gardening, reading and playing with her dog.
Cindy Kay – Business TeamCindy Kay has been in the dental field since 2008 when she went back to work after her kids were in school. “The relationship with our patients is what makes me tick. I enjoy getting to know them, their families and what interests they have.”
She has a son who is in college and a daughter who will herself be off to college soon. She enjoys spending time with her kids, attending the theatre, watching movies at home, cooking and just hanging out. Cindy Kay also loves to hike, ride her mountain bike and read and always loves hearing about good books.
Lan – Dental Assistant
Much like her aunt, Lan found her passion for patient care in the dental field. For over 4 years Lan has been a Dental Assistant and has loved every minute of it! As a part of the dental family here at Manson Dentistry, Lan adds an additional level of tidiness and organization to our office that we think you’ll notice.
One of her favorite things to do when not with patients is exploring Eastern Washington by hiking with friends or riding around in anything with two wheels. Not to mention that she loves DIY projects!
Aura – Dental Assistant
Aura made her way to Washington from California when she was 5 years old. She is a certified Dental Assistant and has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Combining her extensive dental experience with her dedication to providing excellent patient care is why we love having her in our dental family.
She likes to go on weekend getaways with her husband and do volunteer work with his local club. Aura also enjoys watching her daughter play roller derby, and listen to her son playing at recitals.
Rudy – Dental Assistant
Rudy was born in Southern California and has been in the dental field for over 25 years. Early on in his life, he experienced a traumatic accident that required a large amount of special attention from dentists. Through this event, Rudy has found a passion for helping others in similar situations. He also enjoys staying on top of his continued education and is OSHA & CPR certified.
He loves the great outdoors and watching his two Belgian Malinois pups play alongside his beautiful wife and daughter.
